My Night...

Alright this is what happened last night:
My friend Bryan and I were out driving around Ronkonkoma. He picked up some Wendy's and we drove around the corner form my house, since i had to be home in 15 minutes. We pulled over so Bryan could finish his food ( I don't eat fast food, yick!), and we were only there 5 minutes when a man pulled up behind us. He got out of his car and was holding what we thought was a gun (turned out to be his cell phone)! Saying he was the police, he had us put our hands outside of the car. Bryan asked for a badge, and he said he did not have it, but gave us his information. He had us get out of the car, saying he was an off-duty suffolk county police officer who was on drug patrol, and he had to search out car for drugs. He was rude, unprofessional, and very sketchy. When he was finished, Bryan demanded for his badge and information several more times, but the man ran back to his car and sped off. We did not get the license plate #, because for a while there, we thought he was a real police officer! Well, scared out our minds and sure we had just run into a cop impersonator, we called the real police, who came to file a report. the guy drove back down our street, but the cop couldn't catch him. so basically, we had to go to a precinct at one in the morning and file a report. Let's say i just got home two and a half hours past my curfew. I'm still a nervous wreck.
So, what have we learned?
1. ALWAYS get the license plate number in a sketchy and uncomfortable situation
2. don't get out of the car if a police officer has no badge
3. Don't eat fast food (hehe).

So be careful everyone; i'm still afraid!
